Membership of the Gwent Ladies Past Captains Golf Society is open to all lady past captains of clubs affiliated to the Gwent Golf Union. You can find a full list of the golf clubs on the committee members page.
It is set up to encourage friendship and fun playing golf together. Non-playing Members are very welcome at meetings and as spectators at matches.
Cost of membership (the membership booklet) for the 2025 season is £3.00.
We play three competitions for trophies each year. Cost of entry is £8.00 for the 18 hole competition (£5.00 if the competion is played on your home course), and £5.00 for those who only wish to play the 9 hole competition. Find out where the season's events are on the fixtures page.
The Society also plays three matches each year, against the lady past captains of Gloucester, the lady past captains of Somerset, and the Gwent Past Captains. These matches are followed by a meal. Costs vary by venue / match. We play Gloucester at home and Somerset away in even years, Gloucester away and Somerset home in odd years. Last but not least we hold an annual lunch in March, to start off the season.
